Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Good Till Canceled, LLC d/b/a Bips ("Bips", "we"), and govern the Bips iOS app and this website. The complete, controlling official rules for drawings and prizes appear below and in the app under Account → Terms and rules.

The game

• Bips is a fantasy market game. Portfolios are simulated; no securities or cryptocurrency are bought, sold, or held on your behalf, and nothing in Bips is investment advice or a recommendation.
• You must be 18 or older and a U.S. resident to play.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

Tokens, Alpha, and prizes

• Entry tokens are how you enter challenges. New accounts receive free tokens and more arrive free every week — tokens are not sold. Tokens have no cash value and can't be redeemed, refunded, or transferred.
• Alpha is the prize-points currency. It can only be earned through gameplay — it is never sold — and has no cash value.
• Drawings and prizes are governed by the official rules in the app, including the free entry route. No purchase improves your odds of winning a drawing.

Fair play

We may suspend or close accounts that exploit bugs, create multiple accounts, abuse referrals, or otherwise damage the fairness of the game. Where reasonable, we'll warn before we act.

Liability

Bips is provided "as is." Market data is provided by third-party sources, including Twelve Data, and may be delayed or occasionally wrong; scores settle on the data we capture, and our reasonable good-faith settlement is final. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older and hold a registered Bips account. Limit one account per person. Employees of the Sponsor and members of their households are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

Entry period

Each drawing runs one week, from the moment the previous drawing is held (Sunday 8:00 PM ET) until the next drawing. Each week is a separate drawing; tickets do not carry over.

How to enter for free

Every account that completes sign-up and has opened the app within the previous 30 days automatically receives ONE FREE TICKET in each week's drawing. No purchase, payment, or gameplay is required to receive or use the free ticket, and a free ticket has the same odds per ticket as any other. Nothing is required of you during the drawing week itself. If more than 30 days have passed since you last opened the app, opening it again restores your free ticket immediately, including for the current week's drawing if it has not yet been held.

Additional tickets

Once your first challenge has settled, up to 5 additional tickets per drawing may be acquired for 25 Alpha each. Alpha is an in-app score earned only through gameplay, including challenge wins and trophies; it cannot be purchased. Acquiring additional tickets does not increase the value of any prize.

Odds and prize

One winner is selected per drawing by random, ticket-weighted draw. Odds of winning depend on the total number of tickets in that week's drawing. Prize: one $25 digital gift card. The featured brand rotates weekly (approximate retail value $25). No cash substitution or transfer; Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal value if unavailable.

Winner selection and notification

The drawing is held Sunday at 8:00 PM ET. The winner is notified in the app and fulfillment is completed within 14 days. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after 30 days.

General conditions

Sponsor may disqualify entries from duplicate accounts, automation, or fraud. Personal information is used solely to administer the drawing and fulfill prizes. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. Sponsor's decisions are final.
